Tottenham aim to sign Genoa defender Radu Dragusin this week.

Spurs are in talks with the Serie A club about an outright deal for the Romania international.

The Daily Mail says Spurs chiefs were upbeat after a round of talks with Genoa on Friday.

An agreement is close over a £25m fee for Dragusin.

A former Juventus player, Dragusin was key to Genoa's promotion-winning campaign last season.
