Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to make an offer for Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo.
The Italy international has been with the capital club for the past two seasons.
Zaniolo has improved enough to see his market price reach £50 million. The 21-year-old has 13 goals and five assists in 64 games in all competitions.
He suffered a knee injury in January, but returned at the beginning of July.
And according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Spurs want the player.
"Jose Mourinho [Tottenham manager] wants Nicolo Zaniolo," Schira tweeted.
"Tottenham are ready to offer €50M (£45.1m) AS Roma ask €60-70M (£54.1-£63.1m) to sell the Italian midfielder," Schira added.
"Juventus are really interested in him and Inter Milan are looking (they have 15 per cent on a future fees)."
