Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is chasing Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz.

The News of the World says Redknapp wants to unload Roman Pavlyuchenko and Darren Bent in the summer.

That will give him more than enough funds to reshape his squad - with Santa Cruz the top target.

Manchester City have dropped their interest in the Rovers striker, having failed with a bid of £17million during the January transfer window.

Redknapp is keen to add Santa Cruz to his strike force next season alongside Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe.
