Tottenham offered Everton signing Dele Alli to SEVEN French clubs

Tottenham offered Dele Alli to as many as SEVEN clubs before he was signed by Everton on Monday's deadline day.

Alli joined Everton on a free transfer, though the deal could be worth as much as €40m in bonuses.

L'Equipe says Spurs offered the midfielder to Paris St Germain, Olympique Lyon, Olympique Marseille, AS Monaco, Stade Rennes, OGC Nice and OSC Lille in France.

Ultimately, Alli signed a contract with Everton until 2024.

Everton will be pay an initial €20m once the England international plays 12 games.
