Tottenham have made a move for Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.

Tuttosport says Tottenham's attempts to bring in a new goalkeeper as a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris could see them head to Italy.

Spurs are interested in signing Atalanta stopper Gollini ahead of the summer market opening.

Gollini, who was on the books at Manchester United as a youngster, has impressed in the Serie A and has caught the attention of the north London outfit.

The Italy international also had a spell with Aston Villa before igniting his career by returning home to Italy.
