Tottenham midfielder Sissoko to miss Ajax clash

Tottenham are rocked by the news they will be without Moussa Sissoko for the Champions League semi final against Ajax.

After a remarkable clash against Manchester City that put them in the semis, Spurs are licking their wounds and assessing who may be fit to play in the coming weeks.

And it appears the groin injury Sissoko suffered against City will keep him out - at least for the first leg. Hugo Lloris and Harry Winks are also doubts, per manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino said to reporters: "Moussa Sissoko is not going to be fit, maybe for the next two weeks, we hope he can recover before but I am not so optimistic.

"Harry Winks we don't know because it is a problem that is one day very good, next day not very good, it is about assessing each day.

"We hope he will be available for Tuesday but we are not sure.

"Lloris I hope yes, we are going to assess, we have a training session and we hope it is not a big issue, we hope he is going to be available."
