Empoli have accepted an offer from Tottenham for goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

The 26 year-old shot-stopper is moving to Spurs for a fee of €19m.

Vicario could be in London on Friday for a medical at Spurs Lodge.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting: "Guglielmo Vicario to Tottenham, here we go! Agreement completed after official bid sent for the Italian goalkeeper to join Spurs on €19m deal.

"Vicario joins after excellent season at Empoli — he will be in London in the next hours to sign contract until 2028."
