Tottenham have made an offer for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
With Barca eager for De Jong to accept a pay-cut, it's suggested he will be sold this summer if he refuses.
And Jijantes' Gerard Romero is reporting Spurs have acted and tabled a bid for the Holland international.
Spurs are offering €60m to Barca and also a four-year deal to De Jong, which matches his current €30m salary.
RAC-1 says Barca are eager for De Jong to agree to a wage reduction, dropping his salary closer to €15m.
Given the new demands, De Jong is now more open to leaving, when in the recent past he has twice rejected attempts by Barca to sell him to Manchester United.
