Internacional striker Leandro Damiao remains the subject of talks with Tottenham.

The Daily Mail says manager Andre Villas-Boas will step up his quest to strengthen the Tottenham squad this week.

The club are considering resurrecting their attempts to sign long-term target Damiao as they continue to be frustrated in their move to sign Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a permanent deal.
