Tottenham are launching a bid for Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach.

The Daily Mail says Harry Redknapp is eyeing a January move for England Under 21 goalkeeper Scott Loach as a replacement for Carlo Cudicini.

Watford value Loach, 21, at £3million. He has played 16 times for Watford this season and has become a key man for England during their qualifying campaign for the European Under 21 Championships.

With Cudicini sidelined, veteran former West Ham goalkeeper Jimmy Walker and youngster David Button are the current understudies to Heurelho Gomes, whose recent form has been excellent.
