Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris is upbeat over a speedy recovery from elbow surgery.
The goalkeeper expects to be back in action over the New Year.
He told Telefoot: "I am positive. We pass the various steps and move on. My return will be in January, so we are doing what it takes to get back on the field.
"My injury? A breakage in the ligament. I also suffered at the level of a muscle, under the biceps with a large lesion. I underwent surgery for four weeks.
"We left the possibility that it'd heal naturally, but after four weeks we feared for the stability of the arm for the future."
