Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has moved to secure his top kids to new deals.
The Daily Star Sunday says Redknapp was hugely impressed by the assured displays of Kyle Walker, 21, Tom Carroll, 19, Jake Livermore, 21, and Andros Townsend, 20, as they got their Europa League group campaign underway with a spirited point at PAOK Salonika.
He is also monitoring the progress of England Under-21 defender Steven Caulker, 19, currently on loan at Swansea, with a view to a new deal.
Redknapp saw Arsene Wenger pay heavily for not securing France ace Samir Nasri, 24, on an extended contract and will act swiftly to ensure his bright young things are offered new deals.
A Tottenham source said: "The way the young lads acquitted themselves in Greece was very encouraging.
"But there is no way the club want to lose anyone on the cheap. We can expect some discussions to come from their displays last week."
