Tottenham boss Pochettino had hand in design of new stadium

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino admits he's had a hand in the design of the new stadium.

Pochettino has revealed he was asked by Spurs chairman Daniel for help designing the club's long overdue new stadium.

The Argentine, also the architect behind the club's current, best-ever start to a Premier League season, said: “It is strange that Daniel asked for some details like this because he is the architect and he loves this kind of thing.

“But yes he asked because we are the professionals and afterwards we are going to be using those different things at the stadium."

It comes as the north Londoners confirmed they have struck a deal to continue to play their 'home' Premier League games at the national stadium until their new 62,000-seater arena is ready.
