Tottenham are attempting to talk down Fulham's asking price for Ryan Sessegnon.
Spurs have already splashed out £65million on Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke and they are now in pole position to land Sessegnon, says the Mirror.
They see him as a long term replacement for Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain target, Danny Rose.
England under-21 international Sessegnon, 19, is keen to leave Fulham after they were relegated and has been stalling on a new deal.
The sticking point remains the size of the fee with Fulham demanding around £45m for him.
Tottenham are willing to pay around £25m plus add ons for the player, who only has another year left on his contract.
