Newcastle United still must tie down goalkeeper Tim Krul to a new deal.

The Evening Chronicle says Krul has yet to sit down and talk about a new deal at any length and his current contract will hit the final 12 months this summer.

Krul has been a target of Tottenham Hotspur and a clutch of teams on the Continent are also monitoring his situation.

The Dutchman's value is thought to be set at £15m.
