Former England and Chelsea manager Glenn Hoddle has been left impressed by Arsenal's acquisition of Petr Cech
The 33-year-old joined the Gunners from Chelsea in a four-year deal on Monday and Hoddle believes the Czech Republic international will be a hit at the Emirates.
"Cech will give Arsenal an opportunity now to become more solid," he told Kicca.
"It'll be a fresh challenge for him, he'll be excited about keeping clean sheets. There was a familiarity about Chelsea and he wants to play.
"He wants to stay in London, I know that for a fact. He's staying in London. So he's going to be a happy bunny off the pitch. If you're a happy bunny off the pitch you'll perform even better. So there's a lot of positives for Arsenal. "I do believe he's a world-class goalkeeper and he's got a few years left at that level. Arsenal have really, really got themselves the start of the spine."
