Terry in danger of missing rest of Chelsea campaign

Chelsea skipper John Terry could be sidelined for the remainder of the season after injuring his foot on Tuesday night.

The centre-back required a stretcher to leave the Estadio Vicente Calderon pitch in the 72nd minute of Chelsea's 0-0 Champions League semi-final first leg draw with Atletico Madrid.

Terry was replaced by Andre Schurrle and is now in danger of missing the final three Premier League fixtures, including the top-of-the-table clash with Liverpool this weekend, and the semi-final second leg at Stmaford Bridge next week.

"And John - we have to play the final for him to play with us," said manager Jose Mourinho who has also lost Petr Cech for the rest of the campaign after he dislocated his shoulder early in the contest.
