Taylor upbeat on Villa top 4 chances

Former Aston Villa midfielder Ian Taylor is upbeat on their top four chances.

Defeat for Tottenham at Chelsea as strengthened their hopes.

"It's looking good but we have still got games to go, it's not over yet," Taylor said to BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast.

"We have got a difficult game against Brighton. After last night [Villa's 4-2 defeat at home to Olympiakos in the Europa Conference League semi-final] the lads have got to recover and get back on Premier League duty. That's not going to be easy.

"We have still got some difficult games to go and need to concentrate on what we are doing. I've always thought it was a difficult run-in for Tottenham, but you just never know, do you?

"It would be fantastic. After the last few years that we have had, I think Unai Emery since he has come in has been an absolute magician. He has done a fantastic job at the football club with virtually the same players.

"It's been an amazing turnaround and if we can just get through these last few games we will have Champions League football and that is what we have been after all season - so that would be job done."
