Victor Wanyama reckons his ability to read the game as a key part of his role in Tottenham's 4-1-4-1 system.

The Kenya international produced another accomplished display in Tuesday night's 0-0 draw against Bayer Leverkusen.

"You have to be fit and you have to read the game as well. I think that helps - by reading the game you are always in the right place at the right time," the 25 year old told the club's official website.

"I always try to work hard, in every game I always want to do something and always want to improve."
