Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has welcomed their deal for former Arsenal teammate Aaron Ramsey.

Szczesny has cemented his standing as Juve's number one keeper as the Old Lady chase their first Champions League trophy in over two decades.

And the 28-year-old has offered some words of encouragement to Ramsey ahead of his summer switch to Turin.

Asked about Ramsey by YouTube channel Foot Truck, Szczesny said: "He never considered football as a tactical game.

"He is the guy who runs for the whole 90 minutes. He runs more than any player I've played with, 13 kilometres per game with no problem.

"In my opinion, he'll be a great addition to Juventus."
