Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton is drawing inspiration from Tottenham star Scott Parker.
Britton now hopes he can follow in the footsteps of fellow West Ham old boy Parker, who ended his own England exile last year to make himself one of Fabio Capello's key midfield men.
"He's done fantastic and you look at him and see how quickly things can turn around.
"I think that's the thing - one minute you can be doing brilliant and if you get too above yourself you drop back down.
"On the other hand, things might not be going too well but if you work hard enough and keep your focus, then you can turn things around.""A couple of years ago Scott probably wasn't being looked at as an England player, but now he's a regular starter," said Britton.
