Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony admits it is nice to be heavily linked with Manchester City.
The 26-year old is the subject of a potential £30million transfer to the reigning Premier League champions and although he is relishing the interest, he is only focused on the 2015 African Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast.
When asked if the big-money move to City had been finalized, Bony said: "Not yet.
"The discussions are still going on, and now I am going to join my national team and I am just focusing on that.
"I don't know what's going to happen, but it's good to hear (that City are interested).
"Every player wants to play Champions League and World Cups. It's the wish of every player.
"But I am just taking it step by step. Now I just focus on my national team and I wait to see the news like you."
Bony was speaking to reporters in Manchester after spending time at the Etihad Stadium prior to his flight to Abu Dhabi to link up with the Ivorian team for the 2015 CAF tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
