Swansea News: Laudrup saddened; West Brom compete for Leganes defender Siovas

Former Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup is sorry to see his old club struggling.

Laudrup won the League Cup as Swans manager.

"Already last year they were struggling after the first half of the season, they were bottom," he told Omnisport.

"They changed the coach, Paul Clement came, they had a fantastic second half of the season and they stayed up.

"First half of this season and exactly the same... bottom and they sacked the coach and brought in another coach.

"You can say that not much has changed and they are back there again, so it's more a question of why is it happening repeatedly?

"The problem is, if it's happening two or three times and you're down there, one day you risk being relegated."

Meanwhile, Leganes centre-back Dimitrios Siovas is interesting Swansea and West Brom.

The 29-year-old has been starring for Leganes in La Liga this season playing 12 games and helping to keep seven clean sheets in the process.

Standing 6ft 4in, Siovas can also play as a holding midfielder and is understood to have a release clause set at £10m.
