Swansea City have reportedly made a move for AS Roma's Seydou Doumbia.
The Swans are on the hunt for a new striker this month and according to WalesOnline, have made contact with Roma regarding Ivory Coast international Doumbia.
It is believed that Swansea are willing to reinvest the money they made from the sale of Jonjo Shelvey to Newcastle United and spend around £12million on the 28-year-old.
Doumbia arrived at Roma in January 2015 but was sent back to CSKA Moscow on a season-long loan in the summer and is looking for a way out from the Italian capital with the Liberty Stadium a likely destination.
The 33-time capped Ivorian has scored five league goals in 13 outings for CSKA and his prolific in Russia over the years has certainly attracted the attention of the Swans who are in desperate need of goals as they look to climb out of their current relegation woes.
