Swansea City boss Garry Monk is delighted with the impact of on-loan Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll.

The Daily Mail says Swans are keen to make Carroll's loan from Tottenham into a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old has impressed Monk and is happy to make the switch from White Hart Lane, where competition among midfielders is fierce.

A striker is also on Monk's wishlist with Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham among those continuing to admire £20m-rated Wilfried Bony.
