Sunderland aren't giving up on Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

The Sunday Sun says the Black Cats have been linked with Guidetti several times over the summer and sources in the North West say Sunderland remain very interested in the Sweden international striker.

Guidetti looks set to leave the Etihad Stadium, but a loan move to Blackburn Rovers has already fallen through with City preferring to sell.
