Manchester City hero Sun Jihai has been recalling Li Tie's time at Everton.

Everton chiefs are actively seeking young talent in China this month.

"Li did well in England and we had a few games where we were against each other, with a lot of fans watching from China," Jihai told evertontv. "We were very happy playing for our clubs in England. Now we are both back in China and hopefully we can do something to connect the two countries. The fans were quite focused on me and Li Tie, and on the football in England. We had a lot of pressure on us to do better and better! We had to make them happy."
