Stoke striker Crouch reaches 100 Premier League goals

Peter Crouch scored his 100th Premier League goal in tonight's 1-1 draw between Stoke City and Everton.

The 36-year-old striker became the 26th player in Premier League history to reach the milestone when he slotted into the back of an empty net in the seventh minute at Bet365 Stadium.

Crouch raced onto a lovely ball from Marko Arnautovic to become the oldest player to get to 100 goals in England's top flight, and celebrated in style with his customary robot dance.

Unfortunately, the Toffees spoiled the party when Seamus Coleman's 40th-minute effort was turned in by Potters skipper Ryan Shawcross.

Nevertheless, it is a remarkable achievement from Crouch who took more than 420 matches and six Premier League clubs to get there, scoring six for Aston Villa, 12 for Southampton, 22 for Liverpool, 11 for Portsmouth, 12 for Tottenham Hotspur and 37 for Stoke.
