Stoke City are keen on Manchester City striker Rubin Sobrino.

The Sentinel says the Spanish press claim the Potters have joined a list of suitors including Girona, Genoa, Betis, Deportivo la Coruna, Seville and Las Palmas for the 24-year-old forward.

Sobrino spent last season on-loan with Girona after being signed by Manchester City.

City had brought him in from the Spanish second division side Ponferradina but he had come through the ranks at Real Madrid.
