Stoke defender Cameron still suffering concussion after-effects

Stoke City assistant manager Mark Bowen has revealed that Geoff Cameron is still struggling from a concussion he suffered two-and-a-half weeks ago.

Cameron suffered a concussion in training a couple of weeks ago and as a cause for concern, Bowen has revealed that the American international has not yet returned to training after picking up the head injury.

Bowen said of Cameron: "Geoff Cameron still hasn't trained. He's still had one or two problems with the concussion situation. We are waiting on him and are hoping on better news on him in the next 48 hours.

"He's been out a little while now so would need to be getting back in the group. With head traumas you almost take it day-by-day. He starts training again and then the next day it's `is he ok?' and then you move on to the next step. But until he actually takes that first step, we won't know."
