Stephane Mbia hits brace as Sevilla thrash Deportivo La Coruna

Stephane Mbia struck a brace for Sevilla in their 4-1 rout of Deportivo La Coruna.

Mbia netted a double as Sevilla returned to winning ways with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Deportivo La Coruna at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Former QPR midfielder Mbia got the ball rolling midway through the first half before Haris Medunjanin made it level at the break. But Carlos Bacca, Mbia with his second and Vitolo sealed the win for Unai Emery's side.

Bacca missed a 69th-minute penalty but it did not take the gloss off their triumph which moved them up to third in the Primera Division table, while struggling Depor remain bottom with just four points from their opening seven games.
