Reguilon is on-loan from Real Madrid.

He told Marca: "I'm very happy. I'm happy with the team, the fans, the city. Everyone has welcome me with open arms. I am really grateful to everyone for the affection and confidence placed in me. It's only just started and I hope it keeps going well.

"I didn't think twice about it when Sevilla came up. There were good European teams, but I know LaLiga and I knew about the club I was coming to and that it's a very big club with great fans and a great stadium. I didn't have to think about it much. It was clear to me."

The former West Ham striker came on as a second-half substitute.

Lopetegui said, "In the moment in which he entered the game, he had to take advantage of the spaces.

"It wasn't difficult, he tried and he has to continue doing what the team is asking for."

A first-half goal from Joan Jordan was enough to give Sevilla their third win out of four matches.

Sevilla lead the LaLiga Santander after a 1-0 win away at Alaves on Sunday.

"Being top does not tell me anything because there's such a long way to go," Lopetegui said

"The only thing it tells me is that the team is doing well, that we are getting stronger as a team and now we are heading into Europe."

A first-half goal from Joan Jordan was enough to give Sevilla their third win out of four matches and Lopetegui was pleased with his side's display.

"We played a good game and a very good first half against a difficult opponent who make things very challenging.

"The team did very well with the aspects we had worked on.

"In the second half, it was tougher. They played more direct and perhaps we needed to interpret the situation and not back down. It was a deserved and fair victory," he added.

Adrian left the Hammers at the end of last season.

"I am btico, but not antisevillista," the Spaniard told Canal Sur.

"I told him that he was going to a very good club that have done well in recent years and that he is going to enjoy the city.

"I enjoyed playing with him. He had a good contract at West Ham and made an effort to move over there (Sevilla).

"If they give him confidence that's like all players. He is a fighter, committed and professional.

"What are we going to say about the Sevillians I have told him where he can live. Not that have we been able to talk much because he has gone directly to the national team (Mexico)."

For the fourth successive international match, Kepa Arrizabalaga was selected over David de Gea as the starting goalkeeper and Robert Moreno has explained the selection decision.

His response may have been a diplomatic way of addressing the issue, but that will only become clear as the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign continues.

"Today it was Kepa's turn, we thought he was the right one for this game," Moreno said.

"I'm very happy with him.

"He has stood out because he saved us from a draw."

Jesus Navas' form with Sevilla has earned him an international recall, not least due to a change in position, and Moreno felt he was an important inclusion on Thursday evening.

"It was simply a matter of profile, as Romania have a very individualistic style on the flanks," he said of his choice at right-back.

"He could give us more crosses and overlaps.

"It was because of this advantage that things were so extreme, although Dani Carvajal could do that too."

The 16 year-old attacker has become the youngest debutant and goalscorer in the LaLiga this season.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca had to fight off the efforts of Real Madrid and Sevilla to keep hold of the teen.

There was a real threat of losing Fati, though the player's priority was always to stay at the Nou Camp.

And the youngster's decision has been justified with his early season record breaking.

The top-flight teams have made more than 150 signings, with records broken along the way and some of the very best players in world football landing in Spain.

Here we run through the standout deadline day moves, the biggest transfers of the window and who reinforced the most.

WHICH MOVES STOOD OUT ON DEADLINE DAY?

Javier Hernndez to Sevilla

Excitement all round at the Ramn Snchez-Pizjun as Sevilla brought in Mexican striker Javier Hernndez from West Ham United on the final day of the window. Having spent the 2014/15 season at Real Madrid, he already knows the league and brings a wealth of experience with him.

Jason and Kenedy to Getafe

Getafe have been looking to strengthen in the wide positions and have done so with the loan acquisitions of Jason from Valencia and Kenedy from Chelsea. The Spaniard and Brazilian add some welcome talent and depth to the squad as Getafe look to campaign on both domestic and international (Europa League) fronts this season.

Alphonse Areola to Real Madrid

Real Madrid have a new backup goalkeeper. Keylor Navas has left for Paris Saint-Germain, with France international Alphonse Areola has moved in the opposite direction. The 26-year-old already has LaLiga experience, having previously played on loan for Villarreal in the 2015/16 season.

Thierry Correia to Valencia

Portuguese right-back Thierry Correia joined Valencia from Sporting CP on a five-year deal. Known for his versatility, the 20-year-old's arrival is timely as regular full-back Cristiano Piccini is currently out with an injury.

Rafinha to RC Celta

It's been a summer of homecomings for Celta after tempting home former academy products Santi Mina (from Valencia) and Denis Suarez (Barcelona). They've now added another player from the Celta family, Barcelona's Rafinha, who returns to Abanca Balaidos where he spent the 2013/14 season on loan. His father Mazinho also played for Celta, so this move is a special one for fans in Spain's northwest.

WHAT WERE THE BIGGEST DEALS OF THE SUMMER?

Frenkie de Jong to Barcelona

Barcelona revealed that they'd be signing Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong as early as January. The player dazzled for Ajax during their impressive Champions League run being named Champions League Midfielder of the Year along the way and is clearly one of the best midfield prospects to emerge in world football in recent years.

Eden Hazard to Real Madrid

The former Premier League Player of the Season now plies his trade in LaLiga Santander. Real Madrid made Hazard their blockbuster signing of the summer, presenting him in front of a packed Santiago Bernabu. Injury has prevented him from making his debut as yet, but big things are expected of the Belgian.

Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona

Barcelona signed one of the best attacking players in world football by bringing in Antoine Griezmann from rivals Atltico de Madrid. The French World Cup winner was Atleti's top scorer in each of the past five seasons and will now line up alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Surez to form a front line that will give defenders nightmares.

Joo Flix to Atltico Madrid

Diego Simeone explained that Atleti would try to replace Griezmann by signing a young player who could blossom into a top-class superstar. The youngster they identified was Benfica's Joo Flix, who quickly whipped up excitement amongst Atleti fans with his performances in pre-season. A jaw-dropping dribble in the 19-year-old's LaLiga Santander debut against Getafe caught the attention too, while he scored his first official goal for the club in the third week against Eibar.

WHICH CLUBS STRENGTHENED THE MOST?

Sevilla and their 13 signings

With sporting director Monchi back at the club, Sevilla have been the busiest team this summer; the revolving door at the Ramn Snchez-Pizjun has hardly stopped spinning. In total, they've made 13 acquisitions by bringing in Diego Carlos (Nantes), Jules Kound (Bordeaux), Sergio Reguiln (Real Madrid), Moanes Dabbur (RB Salzburg), Joan Jordn (Eibar), Fernando (Galatasaray), Nemanja Gudelj (Guangzhou Evergrande), liver Torres (Porto), Rony Lopes (Monaco), Luuk de Jong (PSV), Lucas Ocampos (O. Marseille), Javier Hernndez (West Ham) and Bono (Girona).

Real Sociedad's attacking reinforcements

La Real significantly bolstered their attacking by signing young Scandinavian talents Martin degaard and Alexander Isak as well as the most experienced Portu. They've also added goalkeeper Alex Remiro, left-back Nacho Monreal and centre-back Modibo Sagnan. A very solid transfer window for the side from San Sebastian.

Atltico de Madrid's squad revamp

Considering that Atltico Madrid saw Antoine Griezmann, Diego Godn, Lucas Hernndez, Rodri, Juanfran and Filipe Lus all leave the Wanda Metropolitano this summer, they won't complain about the look of their new squad. In addition to future superstar Joo Flix, they also brought in Mario Hermoso (Espanyol), Felipe (Porto), Kieran Trippier (Tottenham), Marcos Llorente (Real Madrid), Renan Lodi (Athletico Paranaense) and Hector Herrera (Porto).

The 31-year-old was thought to be on 145k-a-week while playing at the London Stadium, but his salary at his new club is around 53k-a-week - over 90k-a-week less.

Sevilla chief Monchi enthused: "I wanted to sign him a long time ago and I must say that in my 20 years as a sports director I had never seen a football player lower his salary so much to sign for Sevilla.

"Javier convinced me in the first talk we had.

"He is an experienced forward who meets the requirements our coach wants."
