Stars sign up to over-35 World Cup

Footballing legends Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho and Michael Owen are set to play in an over-35s World Cup.

Per The Mail, an eight team tournament is taking place in England over the coming summer.

Henry will play for France, while Ronaldinho and Owen for Brazil and England respectively.

The tournament is only inviting former FIFA World Cup winners - England, Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Uruguay.

Per The Sun, the tournament is organized by Elite Players Group (EPG), while it will be called the EPG Cup.

Players can participate if they are over 35 and played for their nation, or if they are over 35 and played 100 top flight club games.
