Tottenham have moved to tie down highly-rated striker Troy Parrott to ensure he is not persuaded to sign elsewhere.

He is rated as one of the most exciting prospects in his age group.

Now the 18-year-old is signing a three and a half year contract.

The Daily Mail suggests that it will be a deal that keeps him at the club until 2023.

Parrott was out of contract next summer on his previous deal.

Given interest from Juventus and Bayern Munich, Spurs wanted to ensure that Parrott knew his long term future lies in North London.
