England duo Dele Alli and Kyle Walker have submitted written pleas to FIFA over the rude-finger gesture in the 2-1 win over Slovakia, according to Sky Sports.

Alli was caught on camera showing the gesture on the pitch, and after the game, England boss Gareth Southgate explained that the Spurs star was making the gesture towards his former clubmate Walker.

FIFA has reportedly opened investigations into the incident, and they are expected to announce their verdict by the end of this month.
