Southampton boss Pellegrino accepts job is on the line

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino has admitted that his job at the St. Mary's Stadium is currently on the line.

Pellegrino has already found himself under pressure since his arrival to the St. Mary's Stadium over the summer due to the Saints' uninspiring performances but despite the scrutiny, the Argentine manager has insisted that is not overly concerned and is enjoying himself.

Pellegrino said: "The pressure in our job is to work in football. The risk is to work in football. It's the same when you're driving on the motorway. You've got to take the same risk, everything is a risk.

"But I enjoy my profession and I know the results are part of our job because the only thing I've done in my life is to play football and to work in football.

"From ten years old I felt this feeling. When you win you have to continue winning, when you lose you have to continue to keep on working to win again. But it's our job."
