Southampton manager Ronald Koeman may watch Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Vitesse Arnhem on crutches after injuring his achilles at training.
Koeman was putting his side through their paces on Wednesday ahead of the crunch fixture, but had to be escorted from the training ground with the help of crutches.
The 52-year-old was also wearing a protective boot on the injured foot, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Koeman tweeted about the incident afterwards saying: “Hopefully I won't be out of action for too long."
An extra injury to report ahead of the game tomorrow - I've injured my Achilles' tendon! Hopefully I won't be out of action for too long!
