South Korea coach Klinsmann explains plan for Spurs striker Son

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min will play for South Korea in the upcoming internationals.

The 31-year-old, who is his nation's captain, will be used extensively by boss Jurgen Klinsmann.

Son came off after an hour in a recent Premier League game against Liverpool, suggesting his fitness is being managed.

"It's natural for European players to feel fatigued," Klinsmann told reporters.

"It will be difficult to adjust to the time difference. Son Heung-min will be less tired. There's no European competition."

The Koreans take on Tunisia and Vietnam in games over the October international break.
