Solly March admits Brighton's players are delighted to enter international week in good form.
Albion are up to 12th after victory over West Ham.
They head into the international break and their next match at Newcastle in a fortnight with eight points from as many matches after a tough group of fixtures.
March told The Argus: "It was exactly what we needed. We weren't anywhere near our best but we grinded it out, got the three points and I'm delighted.
"It looks a lot more positive now. We still could have had a few more victories, but with the run coming up we can keep climbing up the table.
"It'll be good to get a bit of a rest, maybe a few days away. Once I've had a few days I'll be ready and raring to go again."
