Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke was delighted after victory over Newcastle.
The Cherries won 2-0 via a brace from Solanke.
He said: "I'm feeling good. Obviously we've not had the best start to the season but we're looking to kick on. Hopefully I can carry on scoring.
"I think I've always believed. We've played some fantastic teams and some games we've been unlucky not to take three points. But we believe in the team and the staff and we showed that today. We're still far from where we want to be and hopefully we can kick on now.
"I had to go back to square one and work myself back up. I didn't really want to be in the Championship but I felt I needed to go and score some goals. Last season, back in the Premier League, I wanted to establish myself. This season I feel good and I have goals behind me.
"It's never easy adapting to a new manager. You always need time. We have played some top teams so we need to cherish these moments. We have some good form at home so hopefully that will continue."
