Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom thanked fans for their support after victory over Wolves.
It marked a first win for the season as the Blades earned the points from an injury-time penalty converted by Ollie Norwood.
Heckingbottom said, "They've been brilliant all season. They want to see the lads give everything. That's the type of performance everyone wants to see and everyone contributes to that players and fans.
"Our position [in the league] hasn't changed. It's time for cool heads and to understand what a battle and what a division we're in. We need more of that. We got ourselves in a position to force the issue at half time. We've been in that position a lot, at half time and even in injury time, and not been able to get over the line so that was a big one.
"It's about getting in a position to capitalise as much as possible."
