Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli has questioned new signing Loic Bade.

The Rennes defender will join on-loan after cutting short his spell at Nottingham Forest.

Sampaoli said, "It is not up to me. I adjust to what I have. Badé is a player that I faced in France, who has potential but who comes without playing and has to adapt to a different idea.

"That sometimes happens soon, takes longer, or never happens. Everything ends up being unknown unless they are absolute players who can win a match."

He added, “With the problems we have had, the idea is to find a left-handed profile defender. We only have (Marcos) Acuña, who is going to have to play because the numerical issue forces us."
