The Senegal FA aren't giving up on Bayern Munich striker Sadio Mane making the World Cup.

From Germany, it was claimed yesterday that Mane was out of Senegal's World Cup campaign due to a calf injury suffered in victory over Werder Bremen this week.

However, RMC says Senegal management believe Mane will recover during the tournament.

As such, Mane is set to be selected, with the aim of the former Liverpool striker Mane playing later in the campaign.

Senegal are in contact with Bayern management, and further talks are planned for the coming days.
