Seamus Coleman is proud of his longevity at Everton.
The club captain has penned a new one-year deal, which will mark his 15th at Everton.
He told the club's website: "I'm extremely fortunate. I came over here as a reserve player and just wanted to be the best I could be every single day and keep pushing every single day and, from that first training session to my last training session before I go injured, I went into it with the same desire, same motivation, same application and gave 100% every single time.
"There is no big secret to the longevity. I just love what I do and I give it my all every single time, whether I play well or don't play well, or train well or don't train well, I always go with maximum effort.
"I love what I do, I am very fortunate and hopefully there will be a few more appearances."
