Sarr still floating after Spurs goal in victory over Man Utd

Pape Matar Sarr is still floating after scoring in Tottenham's win against Manchester United.

Sarr struck in the 2-0 triumph on Saturday.

He told the club's website: “Well, it was an unbelievable moment. Scoring a goal in a match like that one is really something special. I can hardly start to describe for you how it felt to score at that instant, but there it was, and you have to put that behind you now and concentrate on the next match ahead.

“No question that Manchester United is a big club, and to score goals against big clubs like that is really something exceptionally great for me. So, I'm happy how I did, and happy with our team performance in the match."

On his celebration, Sarr smiled: “Yes, I really felt them (the fans), as they were right behind us all through the match and they were driving us on, and that's why when I scored the goal, I set off right towards the fans at the byline.

“As for the box to box runs, that's one of my attributes, so I was making those box to box runs throughout, and there was a large space that opened up for me when I scored, I felt the ball was going to arrive straight into my run and it came at just the right moment for me to make the goal."
