Ruben Loftus-Cheek struck a hat-trick as AC Milan defeated preseason friendly opponents ES Sahel.

The former Chelsea midfielder hit all three goals before halftime. Olivier Giroud scored from the spot in the second-half to round-out the scoring.

Milan coach Stefano Pioli played Loftus-Cheek in midfield, though is encouraging him to get himself in the opposition box as much as he can.

Christian Pulisic, another to arrive from Chelsea, started the game and laid on two assists for Loftus-Cheek.

Milan again play today against Novara as their preseason continues.
