Tottenham wing-back Danny Rose is convinced of exciting times at Sunderland.

Rose signed for Sunderland on-loan last week.

"I think it's exciting times here, definitely," he said. "Take Adam Johnson - if you're leaving City pretty much every team in the league would want you. For him to choose Sunderland speaks volumes.

"I worked with Louis (Saha) at Spurs last season and he's a great finisher and a top man as well. I'm definitely excited to get going."
