Romano: Man Utd board fully behind Ten Hag

Manchester United's board remains fully behind manager Erik ten Hag.

That's according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

After defeats at home to Manchester City in the league and Newcastle in the Carabao Cup, Ten Hag's position has been questioned.

But Romano said on his YouTube channel: “I can assure you: the United board still fully supports Ten Hag

“United wants to continue working with Ten Hag, as they did in the summer. He has pushed for many bought players, such as Sofyan Amrabat, Rasmus Højlund and André Onana.

“He still has the confidence after last season, the board knows that he is struggling with an incredible number of injuries,.

“The situation needs to change, but the board believes its vision is still the right one, but there is still something important I need to talk about: the takeover of the club.

“The ownership situation does not help the club at all," says Romano. “There is no clarity. That trickles down to the field. It is still not clear who will handle the winter transfers at the club. United really needs that: clarity."
