Kaden Rodney says David Ozoh is an inspiration to Crystal Palace's young players.

Having been an additional option for Palace's matchday squad at Brentford on Saturday, travelling with the first-team, 18 year-old midfielder Rodney cited the success of fellow Academy midfielder Ozoh – who made his Premier League debut in January – as an extra motivation.

“Everyone in that changing room wants to do what he's done. He's set the bar so we've just got to continue what he's done," he told Palace's website.

“It's been a great experience going along with the first-team, travelling, seeing what it's like at the top. Brentford were a bit lucky to get the draw in the last minute, but it was great being with the lads."
