REVEALED: Tottenham can land Barcelona defender Marc Bartra for chump change

Barcelona could lose defender Marc Bartra at the end of this season.

Sport says Bartra's contract, which runs to 2017, carries a buyout clause of €50 million. However, that drops to just €10 million if he fails to play more than 60 per cent of games this season.

Europe's biggest clubs are aware of the situation and Barca are bracing for knockdown bids to arrive in the coming weeks.

The defender is already attracting major enquiries from the Premier League and Bundesliga, where clubs are well aware of the situation.

Tottenham made an attempt for Bartra before he renewed his contract and are sure to try again.
